Vintage Panasonic RC-55 Clock Radio / Japanese Model / VFD / Red / Retro / 70’s

Here is an amazing looking retro futuristic National Panasonic clock radio from the 70's. The radio features a unique space age design with a large VFD display and a tastefully understated radio tuning dial. On top of the case is a mode selector on the left, “doze” button in the centre, and a volume dial on the right.

These radios get many hours of attention with a full disassembly, internal and external alcohol cleaning to sanitize and remove contamination, Retro-bright or 2 stage paint if necessary plus any electronic repairs needed to bring them back. The plastics / bezels are wet sanded and polished to remove scratches and scuffs which restores them as close to new as possible. Switches and Potentiometers are cleaned and lubricated with professional contact cleaner.
