I have hobbies that seem to always involve taking things apart and putting them back together again. I plead guilty to this when I was 10 years old and my mom screamed at me for taking the VCR apart so I could see how it worked. Many days in my early teens building computers or circuit boards from the parts I "recovered" somewhere else.
I've always been fascinated by industrial design and how visual aesthetics can be integrated so elegantly into an objects' function, it can make an a thing become an extension of its possessor or user.
What I put into this shop is an extension of my interests and Hobbes, it's thoroughly enjoying to bring something back to life, create something real from very little or to repurpose an object into what it wanted to be in the first place.
The shop captures my interests in electronics, vintage computers, woodworking, industrial design, photography, graphical design and sometimes just whatever comes to mind on a particular day.
