A very cool unused National RC-316 AM/FM clock radio imported from Japan. The RC-316 has dual alarms and a unique 8-Bit video game sounding wake up feature that does away with the traditional annoying buzz buzz beep beep, click the link to have a listen. FM works differently in Japan so you get 76Mhz- 90Mhz maybe you'll find a UFO playing disco or something, In this area we reach a few stations 88Mhz up to about 100Mhz. All buttons are labelled in Japanese so it's a fun choose your own adventure at first but it only takes a little fiddling and google translate to do so.

These radios get many hours of attention with a full disassembly, internal and external alcohol cleaning to sanitize and remove contamination, 2 stage paint if necessary plus any electronic repairs needed to bring them back. The plastics / bezels are polished to remove scratches and scuffs which restores them as close to new as possible. Switches and Potentiometers are cleaned and lubricated with contact cleaner.
