Sony 8F-38D Vintage Stereo AM|FM Radio | Rare Pair | MCM | 60’s | Black

Rare as a blue goat with pink whiskers, a true Time Machine. This set from 1968 includes both the Sony 8F-38D AM/FM Radio and the Stereo Adapter STA-38A. They are in great condition and working perfectly, the sound quality is surprisingly good for something of this era with clear highs and good bass. The radio operates on batteries (included) or a separate 6V power (not included). The Auxiliary speaker can be left home or connected with the supplied cable for full stereo sound.

These radios get many hours of attention with a full disassembly, internal and external cleaning to sanitize and remove contamination, 2 stage paint if necessary plus any electronic repairs needed to bring them back. The plastics & bezels are polished to remove scratches and scuffs which restores them as close to new as possible. Switches and Potentiometers are cleaned and lubricated with contact cleaner.
